Freedrum Update: Certification Status & Design Talk

Hello Everyone!

We have some great news to start with!

Certification Roadmap

We have passed certification in all countries outside of the EU. This means we can ‌produce kits for internal testing. We will use the new Maple wood samples to secure the newly produced kits and begin internal testing. 

You may have noticed we said outside of the European Union - that's because during the EU tests they asked us for some extra tweaks to the hardware to be 100% EU certified. This will make the hardware that much more dependable. We already have this change ready so we can go through certification again.

Pablo Embedded Engineer and Philip Co-Founder and CPO take a deeper dive into the design of Freedrum hardware. They tap into the new design from version 1 to version 2 and the ‌hurdles we came across when developing this new hardware design.
